1. Get Outside the Comfort Zone
A lot of people have great ideas but they fail to implement those ideas because they are not willing to get out of their comfort zones. They start doubting their capabilities and believe they can’t do it. The best thing to do when getting out of the comfort zone is not to go way out of the comfort zone, but to just go a little outside the comfort zone and to take baby steps from there and build on it. This is because a lot of times people try to take too much of a big leap or think of taking too much of a big leap which prevents them from ever getting outside it.
2. Shorten your Timeline
Most people usually think there are things they can’t do now or they can’t do it until something happens. This makes them think that the things they want are so far into the future. People need to open up their minds and realize that they cannot wait for something to happen five years down the line for them to be able to do what they want. What's holding them back is their thoughts and nothing else. Their phrase should change to, "I can do anything now."
Jaclyn derives fulfillment from connections and relationships. Whether she is on group coaching calls with clients or one on one coaching calls or spending time with her husband or time with her kids. It is such moments of connections that she feels the most fulfilled. Jaclyn also likes creating courses live as opposed to just sitting in her room and creating content.
Jaclyn does her routine early in the morning before the house wakes up. She sometimes has to become flexible and do other house chores before starting her morning routine. Before she starts her morning routine, she gets her mind in the right mindset. After that she spends 10 minutes meditating and then she does a gratitude list. Jaclyn then takes a paper out and writes something that she is grateful for. The reason why she does a full paper of gratitude list and not a list of three things is because most of the time they are the same three things every day. A full list forces her to be creative and to look beyond the obvious and capture the little thing as well as the struggles she should be grateful for. She also includes herself in the gratitude list unlike most people who are only grateful for external things.
