SEDONA RISING

A four-day retreat for women who know it’s time to come back to themselves and the land.

Welcome to Sedona Rising.

There comes a moment when life keeps functioning, but a woman knows it’s time to respond to what’s been waiting inside her.

Sedona Rising is for women who recognize that moment.

On a private red rock sanctuary, twelve women gather to walk the land, sing, pray, rest, and participate in a remembering guided by Earth and sacred plant wisdom.

THIS IS A RETURN TO WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW.

Your voice. Your steadiness. The part of you that no longer second-guesses what you know.

Women leave clearer and more grounded, carrying a felt sense of direction that continues long after they return home.

Where Women Remember Through Ceremony and Song

Here, song becomes prayer.

Not performance. Sound offered from the body, as it is.

For many women, the voice learned to stay small. Softened. Held back. Not because it lacked power, but because it learned how to stay safe.

This is where that begins to loosen.

Our days move between time on the land, reflection circles, fire ceremony, sound healing, and gentle breath work. Meals and warm teas are woven throughout, held in a pace that allows the body to settle and the heart to open.

With Reya Manna, Master Ceremonialist and Sacred SongKeeper, we work with voice, prayer, and relationship with the land.

During ceremony, we’re gently accompanied by Huachuma (often spelled Wachuma & aka San Pedro), a traditional Andean plant teacher known for its subtle, steady way of restoring presence, opening the heart, and deepening relational awareness with self, nature, and the divine intelligence that moves through all things.

We gather in spring, under the New Moon, when beginnings feel alive. As we sing, pray, and make offerings with the land, something responds. Through attention. Through listening.

And as the voice opens, joy returns. Trust steadies. Something essential comes back online.

Women leave knowing how to walk with life differently.

And yes, there’s magic.

In circle.

At the fire.

Over shared meals.

In the moment your own voice rises, steady and true, and you realize how long it’s been since you felt this FREE.

The kind that happens naturally when women feel safe.

Where We’ll Be Staying

We’ll be staying in a private estate with wide open views of Sedona’s red rocks, including Coffee Pot Rock.

The space is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully cared for. A place where you can truly rest, connect easily, and let the days unfold without rushing.

Your Chef

All meals are prepared by Chef Foluke and her team, joining us from Austin.

As the founder of Nourishing Fork, she creates organic, gluten-free, sugar-free, and seed-oil-free meals that feel both grounding and generous from local farms.

The food is delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and deeply satisfying. Many women say it becomes one of the highlights of the retreat.

Your Guides

Different backgrounds. A shared way of holding sacred space.

Michelle brings years of experience guiding women through real life transitions with steadiness, clarity, and care.

Reya brings decades of ceremonial practice rooted in sacred song, reciprocity, and deep relationship with the land.

The work is sincere, grounded, and supported by the land and plant allies we work with, always at each woman’s pace.

Women of all backgrounds and faiths are welcome.

These photos are from Ojai in November 2025.

What we planned shifted when a storm came through. We stayed inside more, gathered closer, laughed, sang, rested, and let the days take their own shape.

This is the nature of this work.
Real women, real moments, meeting what arrives together.

What to Expect (Adventure Level)

Sedona Rising is a mild, land-based experience.

We spend time outdoors each day at a slow, conversational pace, visiting sacred sites and walking short, well-worn trails. Some paths include light inclines or uneven ground, and we take breaks as needed.

Much of our time is spent sitting, resting, singing, praying, and being with the land rather than moving through it.

Because we’re gently working with Huachuma during the days, the pace is intentionally slow and supportive. Presence matters more than distance.

If you can walk a mile or two comfortably and enjoy being outside at an easy pace, you’ll be able to participate fully.

Safety, comfort, and nervous system care come first.

Here's what happens inside this immersion:

Our time together flows from Thursday, April 16 at 5 PM through Monday, April 20 at 10 AM.

Each day includes guided time on the land, ceremony, shared meals, and spacious time for rest and integration. The pace is unhurried and supportive, with room to listen, participate, or simply be.

All experiences are held with care, consent, and choice. All meals, lodging, and guided experiences are included.

This is where our field begins to weave: through presence, shared words, and a felt sense that something meaningful is already unfolding.

If You Feel the Call

This retreat is intimate by design.

Twelve women. One shared threshold.

Sedona Rising is an invitation to return to right relationship with yourself, with the land, and with the deeper intelligence moving through all life.

We sing to the land. We listen to it. And we move in sacred reciprocity with it.

Under the New Moon, when beginnings are alive and the field is open, time on the land becomes a conversation. Intentions clarify. Higher purpose remembers itself. What’s been rising begins to speak.

You don’t need to have the words for why you’re called. You only need to trust that something in you already knows.

If you’re ready to come back to yourself through the land, you’re welcome here.

Step into the land. Step into yourself.
